After the storm: one crew, from the first tarp to the last shingle.
Licensed, insured, never subcontracted. We tell you honestly what your home needs.

Michigan storms don’t ask permission. Wind lifts shingles and tears siding, hail bruises a roof in ways you can’t see from the ground, and heavy snow and falling debris do the rest. After a storm, the fast, honest work is what prevents a bad day from turning into a soaked ceiling.
We handle full storm restoration: inspecting the damage, making lasting repairs, and walking you through the insurance claim so the paperwork isn’t your problem. We confirm the structure is sound, stop moisture from getting in, and restore the roof and siding properly, and we’ll tell you honestly what the storm actually damaged versus what it didn’t.
We handle storm restoration for homeowners and property owners across Lansing, East Lansing, Okemos, St. Johns, Grand Ledge, Owosso, and the surrounding mid-Michigan communities, nine counties around our home base in St. Johns. Wherever you are in that area, you get the same thing: a licensed, insured, quality-vetted crew that never subcontracts, four manufacturer certifications behind the work, and a straight answer about what your home actually needs. That last part is the reason Andrew, Aaron, and Preston started Anchor in the first place.

Storm Restoration the way it should be done.
It starts with a free, no-obligation look at what’s actually going on. We don’t quote storm restoration over the phone or from a photo, we come out, inspect it properly, and give you an honest read on what your home needs. If a smaller fix will hold, we’ll tell you that. If it won’t, we’ll show you why, with pictures, so the decision is yours to make on real information.
Then our own crew does the work. We never subcontract storm restoration to a rotating cast of strangers, the people who quoted your job are the people on your property, which is how the details stay right from the first fastener to the final cleanup. As certified installers, we do the work to manufacturer spec, not the fast way, because that’s what makes it last and keeps your warranty intact.
And we build for Michigan. Snow load, ice, wind, and the freeze-thaw that punishes everything up here, we account for all of it in how we detail the work. When we’re done, we clean up after ourselves and walk you through what we did. You’re left with storm restoration you can stop thinking about, which is the whole point.
We won’t take your money for work your home doesn’t need. That’s the reason this company exists.
Homeowners choose us because we tell them the truth. We won’t take your money for work your home doesn’t need, and we won’t cut a corner you can’t see to win a job on price. That’s not a slogan, it’s why we’re certified by CertainTeed, LP SmartSide, James Hardie, and Lomanco, why we carry full licensing and insurance, and why so much of our work comes from neighbors who were told straight and treated fairly. When you’re ready, the first step is simple: a free look, an honest read, and a fair price in writing.

Done the honest way.

Straight answers about storm restoration.
No hedging. Here’s the plain version of what homeowners ask us most, and you can see finished work in our gallery.
What should I do after a storm damages my roof?
First, if there’s an active leak, get the water contained and call us for an emergency stop. Then have the roof properly inspected, a lot of storm damage, especially hail, isn’t visible from the ground. We’ll document what we find and help you decide whether it warrants an insurance claim.
Does insurance cover storm roof damage?
Often, yes, wind, hail, and falling-debris damage are commonly covered by homeowner’s policies. Coverage depends on your policy and the cause, but we document the damage thoroughly and walk you through filing, which makes a covered claim far smoother.
How do I know if I have hail damage?
Hail damage is frequently invisible from the ground, it shows as bruised or fractured shingles, dented flashing and vents, and granule loss that shortens shingle life. That’s why a proper inspection matters after a hailstorm; the damage that leads to leaks later is often the damage you can’t see now.
Will you help with my insurance claim?
Yes. We inspect and document the storm damage properly, provide the detailed report your insurer needs, and walk you through the claim process. We deal with storm claims regularly, so we can make a stressful process a lot more manageable.
How fast can you respond to storm damage?
We prioritize active leaks and emergency situations to stop further damage as quickly as we can. Full restoration follows once the immediate threat is handled and, where applicable, the claim is in motion. The goal is always to prevent a small problem from becoming a big one.
Should I file a claim for minor storm damage?
Not always, and we’ll tell you straight. Small, cosmetic damage sometimes isn’t worth a claim. But damage that compromises the roof or siding and will lead to leaks usually is. We’ll give you an honest assessment so you can make the right call for your situation.
