Vinyl is only as good as the crew who hangs it.
The most popular siding in Michigan, installed by our own crew with the prep work done right underneath.

Vinyl siding is the most common siding in mid-Michigan for a plain reason: it costs less than the alternatives, it never needs paint, and a good panel shrugs off decades of weather. But vinyl only performs when the installation is right. Vinyl expands and contracts more than any other siding material, and a crew that nails it tight, skips the moisture barrier, or rushes the trim leaves you with buckled panels and water in the wall.
We install vinyl siding the way the manufacturer spec says to: a clean, flat wall, a real weather-resistive barrier, panels hung so they can move with the temperature, and flashing detailed around every window, door, and penetration. Our own crew does the work start to finish. The people who quote your vinyl siding installation are the people on the ladder.
We handle vinyl siding installation for homeowners across Lansing, East Lansing, Okemos, St. Johns, Grand Ledge, Owosso, and the surrounding mid-Michigan counties. Wherever you are in that area, you get a licensed, insured crew, four manufacturer certifications behind the work, and a straight answer about whether vinyl is actually the right material for your house. If it isn’t, we’ll tell you that too.

Vinyl siding installation the way it should be done.
It starts with a free, no-obligation look at your house. We don’t price vinyl siding over the phone or from a photo. We come out, measure, check the condition of the walls, and give you an honest read on what the job involves. If your existing siding has life left in it, we’ll say so.
Then we talk materials like adults. Vinyl comes in a wide range of thicknesses, profiles, and colors, and the difference between a builder-grade panel and a premium one shows up in year fifteen, not on day one. We’ll show you the options, tell you what we’d put on our own houses, and let you decide with real information instead of a sales pitch.
Vinyl fails at the nail line, not the showroom. How it’s hung decides how it lasts.
On install day, our own crew does the work. Wall prep first, barrier and flashing next, then panels hung with the right gap at every nail so the wall can breathe and move. No subcontractors, no rotating cast of strangers on your property.
When we’re done, we haul off the debris, run a magnet through your yard for nails, and walk the job with you. You’re left with a wall that looks sharp from the street and stays dry underneath, which is the part that actually matters.

Done the honest way.
Hung loose, on purpose
Vinyl expands and contracts with Michigan’s temperature swings. We nail to spec with room for movement, so panels never buckle or oil-can in July heat.
The wall underneath
A moisture barrier and clean flashing behind the vinyl are what keep the sheathing dry. That layer is invisible on day one and everything by year ten.
Our own crew
We never subcontract. The crew that quotes your vinyl siding installs it, which is how the corners, channels, and cuts stay tight.
Is vinyl the right siding for your house?
For a lot of mid-Michigan homes, yes. Vinyl siding gives you the lowest cost per square foot of any full-wall siding, zero painting for its whole life, and easy cleanup with a hose. Modern panels hold their color far better than the vinyl from the nineties, and insulated versions stiffen the wall and cut noise.
It has honest limits too. Vinyl can crack in a hard hailstorm, it can’t be repainted the way fiber cement can, and a cheap panel in full sun will show its age. If you want the look of real wood grain with more impact resistance, engineered wood like LP SmartSide is worth a conversation. If you want the most durable wall money can buy, that’s fiber cement.
That conversation is exactly what the free look is for. We install vinyl, engineered wood, and fiber cement, so we have no reason to push you toward one material over another. We’ll price the options side by side and tell you where each one makes sense for your house, your street, and your plans.
If you already know vinyl is the answer, we’ll get you a firm written price and a start date, and the same crew you met will do the work.

Vinyl siding installation across mid-Michigan.
Our vinyl siding work runs the whole nine-county area around our St. Johns home base. In Lansing and East Lansing that’s a lot of postwar ranches and student-area two-stories where vinyl’s price and zero-paint upkeep make it the obvious wall. In Okemos, Haslett, and Grand Ledge we hang a lot of premium and insulated vinyl on family homes where the extra stiffness is worth it. Out through Owosso, St. Johns, and the small towns between, it’s farmhouses and in-town homes that want a clean, durable re-side at a working price.
The climate case for vinyl here is real: it doesn’t care about road salt spray, it doesn’t rot in wet springs, and a quality panel rides out the freeze-thaw whiplash that peels paint off wood. Its weak points, hail and hard cold-snap impacts, are exactly why we steer you to the right panel grade instead of the cheapest bid.
Wherever you are in the area, the process is the same: a free look, samples held against your brick and roof, a firm written price, and our own crew on the wall.
Straight answers about vinyl siding installation.
The questions people ask us before they sign, answered in plain words. Finished projects are in our gallery.
How much does vinyl siding installation cost?
It depends on the size of your home, the panel grade you choose, and the condition of the walls underneath. Vinyl is the most affordable full-wall siding we install. We give you a clear written price after a free look at the house, and we’ll show you the difference between panel grades so you can decide what’s worth it.
How long does vinyl siding last in Michigan?
A quality vinyl panel installed correctly lasts 20 to 40 years here. The install is the bigger variable. Panels nailed too tight buckle within a few seasons, and a missing moisture barrier rots the wall behind perfectly good siding. Done right, vinyl is a decades-long wall.
Is insulated vinyl siding worth it?
Sometimes. Foam-backed vinyl stiffens the panel, quiets the house, and adds a little insulation value. On an older home with thin walls it can be a meaningful upgrade. On a well-insulated newer home it’s mostly about the stiffer look. We’ll tell you honestly which case your house is.
Can you install vinyl siding over my old siding?
We tear off instead. Siding over old siding traps whatever problems are already in the wall, voids some manufacturer warranties, and telegraphs every wave in the old surface through the new panels. Tear-off lets us inspect the sheathing and fix rot before it’s hidden for another 30 years.
What color and style options does vinyl come in?
More than most people expect: traditional lap in a dozen widths, dutch lap, shake-look panels, and vertical board looks, in dozens of fade-resistant colors. Darker colors are far more stable than they used to be. We’ll bring samples to the free look so you can hold them against the house.
How long does the installation take?
Most single-family vinyl siding installations run two to five days depending on the size of the home and the prep work needed. We’ll give you a real schedule with your written price, and because we never subcontract, the timeline is ours to keep.
Does new vinyl siding help resale value?
It’s one of the stronger returns among exterior projects. Fresh siding changes the whole first impression of the house, and buyers read old, faded, or wavy siding as a project they’ll have to pay for. New vinyl removes that objection at the most affordable price point.
Do you install vinyl siding outside of Lansing?
Yes. We cover a 60-mile radius from St. Johns: Lansing, East Lansing, Okemos, Grand Ledge, St. Johns, Owosso, Ionia, Ithaca, and the towns between. If you’re anywhere in mid-Michigan, call and we’ll tell you in one minute whether you’re in the area.
