Two kinds of houses, two different conversations.
DeWitt has grown fast, and it shows in the housing. There are subdivisions where every roof went on inside the same eighteen months, and there are farmhouses a mile out that have been standing since before anybody platted anything. Those are not the same job. A twenty-year-old builder-grade roof on a 2004 build usually needs a straight replacement with better ventilation than the original had. A century farmhouse needs somebody to think about the chimney saddle, the porch roof tie-in, and the three additions that each met the original roofline differently. We do both, and we don’t quote them the same way.
We’re based in St. Johns, so DeWitt is a fifteen-minute drive and effectively our home turf. That’s worth something on a job: if a storm comes through and you’ve got water coming in, we’re not routing a crew from two counties away.
The way you get a number from us is that we come look at the house. Free, no obligation, no salesman. Those are also the places most warranties get voided. Clinton County winters, heavy snow load, ice dams at the eaves, wind, and constant freeze-thaw, will find anything done cheaply. We clean up completely when we’re done.
