One cracked panel shouldn’t cost you a whole wall.
Cracks, wind pull-offs, and unzipped seams, repaired and color-matched by the same crew that installs vinyl every week.

Vinyl siding takes its hits in Michigan. A January cold snap makes the panels brittle and a stray baseball or hailstone cracks one clean through. A spring windstorm gets a finger under a loose edge and peels a run of panels off the garage side. A seam that was nailed too tight finally unzips and starts to rattle every time the weather moves. None of that means you need new siding. It means you need somebody who repairs vinyl properly and tells you the truth about the rest of the wall.
Our vinyl siding repair work covers cracked and broken panels, wind damage, unzipped and gapping seams, loose J-channel and trim, and the flashing problems that usually turn out to be hiding underneath. We swap the damaged panels, relock the courses, check what the damage exposed, and put the wall back the way it should have been in the first place.
We run vinyl siding repairs across Lansing, East Lansing, Okemos, St. Johns, Grand Ledge, Owosso, and the rest of our nine-county mid-Michigan area. Licensed, insured, our own crew on every call, and honest about the line between a smart repair and money better saved toward a re-side.

The hard part of vinyl repair is the match.
Swapping a vinyl panel is straightforward work with a zip tool and the right fastening. The craft is in the color. Vinyl fades a little every summer, so a factory-fresh panel in your original color can read a shade brighter than the wall around it, and plenty of older profiles and colors are discontinued entirely.
We handle that honestly instead of hopefully. We hunt the current market for your profile and color, and when the exact panel no longer exists we tell you what the closest match is and where the repair will be visible. Often the smart move is borrowing a weathered panel from a hidden wall for the visible spot and putting the new bright panel around back where nobody looks.
A repair should disappear into the wall. If it can’t, we tell you before we start.
Every repair visit also reads the wall behind the damage. A crack from one impact is one thing. Buckled courses, chronic loose panels, or moisture staining behind the break usually mean install problems that will keep producing repairs until they’re corrected.
If that’s what we find, you get the straight version: what today’s fix costs, what the underlying problem is, and at what point repair money stops being smart. No scare talk, just the math and the photos.

Done the honest way.
Fixed with the right tools
Vinyl unlocks and relocks with a zip tool when someone knows how. No smeared caulk over cracks, no face-nailed patches that buckle in July.
Matched, not near enough
We source your profile and color before quoting, and we’re honest about fade. You approve the match before a panel goes on the wall.
Read the whole wall
Every repair call checks the courses, locks, and flashing around the damage, so one visit fixes the cause and not just the symptom.
Repair or re-side? Here’s the honest line.
A cracked panel or two, wind damage on one exposure, a seam that let go: repair, no question. The fix is quick, the cost is small, and a good match keeps the wall looking like nothing happened.
The line starts to move when the damage is a symptom. Vinyl that’s brittle enough to crack from a door slam, walls with buckling from a too-tight original install, or panels that have faded so far no match exists all point the same direction. You can keep buying repairs, but each one gets harder to blend and the wall keeps aging underneath.
Storm damage changes the math too. When hail or wind has marked most of a wall, your insurance may owe you for the full exposure rather than a patch, and a patched-over claim can cost you real money. We document storm damage properly, panel by panel, so the scope reflects what actually happened.
Our repair crew is our install crew, so we have no reason to talk you into either direction. Around a third of our repair visits end with us telling the homeowner their wall is fine. That’s the answer you want from the free look.

Vinyl siding repair across mid-Michigan.
Vinyl is the most common wall in our nine counties, which makes vinyl repair the most common call we get. Lansing and East Lansing bring us cracked panels on postwar ranches and rentals that need fast, tidy fixes between tenants. Okemos and Haslett bring color-match work on nineties builds whose original vinyl lines are long discontinued. Out through St. Johns, Owosso, and the small towns, it’s wind damage: open country gives gusts a running start, and garage-side walls take the beating.
Cold is the local multiplier. The same impact that bounces off vinyl in July cracks it in January, so our repair season never really closes. We keep common profiles and colors in rotation and source the rest quickly, because a cracked panel in February shouldn’t wait for spring.
Wherever you are in the area, the visit runs the same: a free look at the damage, a probe of the wall around it, an honest match assessment, and a written price before anything comes off the house.
Straight answers about vinyl siding repair.
The questions people ask us before they sign, answered in plain words. Finished projects are in our gallery.
Can you match my existing vinyl siding color?
Usually, and we’re honest when we can’t. Vinyl fades, and some profiles are discontinued, so we source the closest current match and show it to you against your wall before we commit. When the match won’t disappear, we’ll say so and suggest tricks like moving a weathered panel to the visible spot.
How much does vinyl siding repair cost?
Less than most homeowners fear. A typical panel swap is a small, quick job, and we put the price in writing after a free look. What we never do is inflate a repair into a re-side. If the wall only needs a panel, that’s what we quote.
Can just one or two panels be replaced?
Yes. Vinyl locks together course by course, so a crew with a zip tool can open the wall at the damage, swap the broken panels, and relock everything without disturbing the rest. It’s the whole point of the material, when the repair is done by someone who installs it.
My siding is rattling in the wind. Is that a repair?
Almost always. Rattling means a course has unzipped from the one below it or the fastening has worked loose. Left alone it becomes wind damage the next real storm. Relocking and refastening is one of the fastest repairs we do.
A storm pulled panels off my wall. Will insurance cover it?
Wind damage to siding is a common and legitimate claim. We photograph and document the damage the way adjusters need, repair what should be repaired, and tell you honestly when the damage justifies a bigger scope than a patch. What we won’t do is inflate anything.
Will a repaired spot be obvious?
Our standard is that you shouldn’t be able to find it from the street. Whether we hit that depends on your color’s age and availability, and we tell you where the result will land before we start, not after.
Do you repair vinyl you didn’t install?
All the time. Most of our repair calls are on walls other crews hung. We’ll fix the damage and, where the original install has problems, show you photos and explain what they mean for the wall’s future.
Do you keep common vinyl profiles in stock for repairs?
We keep the area’s most common profiles and colors in rotation and have supplier relationships for the rest, so most repairs don’t wait on material. For discontinued lines we’ll tell you the realistic sourcing options, including harvesting a hidden-wall panel for the visible repair.
