What does a commercial roof inspection include?
We assess the condition of the membrane field, seams, and surface; check all the flashing and detail points where leaks start; evaluate drainage and look for ponding; and review every penetration, units, curbs, vents, and edge terminations. Do I need an inspection before buying a commercial building?
It’s strongly recommended. The roof is one of the most expensive components of a commercial building, and its condition should factor into the purchase.
