Siding Repair that actually holds.
Cracked panels, wind damage, rot, and sagging sections fixed properly, matched to what’s on the wall.

Not every siding problem is a re-side. A branch cracks two panels, a windstorm peels a corner loose, a woodpecker opens a hole in a board, a downspout leak rots one section by the porch. Those are repairs, and a company that answers every repair call with a whole-wall pitch is telling you more about their sales quota than your house.
Siding repair is honest work when it’s done in the right order: find the damage, find the cause, fix both, and match the repair so the wall reads as one. We repair vinyl, wood, engineered wood, and fiber cement, we chase the water problem that usually sits behind the visible damage, and we’re straight with you about the line where repairs stop making sense and replacement becomes the better money.
We handle siding repair across Lansing, East Lansing, Okemos, St. Johns, Grand Ledge, Owosso, and the surrounding mid-Michigan counties. Licensed, insured, never subcontracted. Storm damage, and the insurance paperwork that comes with it, is a specialty of the house.

A repair is only fixed if the cause is fixed.
Anyone can nail a new panel over a bad spot. The repair that holds is the one that asks why the spot went bad. Rot by a window means flashing or caulk failed above it. A section that keeps blowing loose means the fastening was wrong or the substrate is soft. We fix the cause first, then the cosmetics, or the same call comes again in two years.
Matching is the craft half of repair work. We track down panel profiles and colors for the major vinyl lines, blend replacement boards into wood walls with feathered coating, and use manufacturer touch-up systems on engineered wood and fiber cement. On weathered walls, we’re honest about how close a match can get and where the smart patch boundary sits, usually a corner or a course line, so nothing draws the eye.
If a small repair does the job, selling you an entire new wall isn’t service. It’s a quota.
Storm repairs come with a second job: the paperwork. We photograph and document damage the way adjusters need it, and we’ll tell you honestly whether what we see clears your deductible or whether a claim isn’t worth filing. We do the same on roofs every week.
And when a repair genuinely isn’t the smart money, because the wall is at end of life and this is the third call in two years, we’ll show you the math on repair versus replacement and let you make the call with real numbers.

Done the honest way.
Cause before cosmetics
Water, fastening, or flashing failed somewhere. We fix what broke the wall, then fix the wall.
Matched, not patched
Profiles, colors, and coatings tracked down and blended so the repair disappears into the wall.
Honest about the line
When repairs stop being the smart money, we say so, with numbers, and the decision stays yours.
Repair or replace? The honest math.
The rule of thumb we use on the free look: if the damage is localized, the siding line is still made or matchable, and the wall behind it is dry, repair wins, and it isn’t close. A few hundred dollars of matched panels beats five figures of new wall every time the wall has life left in it.
Replacement starts winning when the problems are systemic. Fading so deep that any patch shouts, damage recurring across multiple walls, a discontinued product with no matchable stock, or moisture readings that say the barrier behind the siding has failed: at that point, repair money is rent, not investment.
Age tilts the math too. A repair on 8-year-old siding is protecting decades of remaining life. The same repair on 28-year-old vinyl is buying a couple of seasons, and we’ll tell you which one you’re buying. Insurance changes the calculus as well: storm damage across a whole exposure sometimes justifies a claim that funds the full wall, and honest documentation is how you find out.
Either way, the assessment costs you nothing. We look, we measure the moisture, we check what’s still matchable, and we hand you the repair number and the replacement number side by side.

Siding repair across mid-Michigan.
Repair is where being local shows. We run repair calls across the whole nine-county area, Lansing, East Lansing, Okemos, Grand Ledge, St. Johns, Owosso, Charlotte, Ionia, and the townships between, and after every serious windstorm we’re on rooflines and walls in the same neighborhoods, so we know what the local housing stock is wearing and what’s still matchable.
That matters practically: matching a nineties vinyl profile on a Lansing ranch, blending cedar repairs on an Owosso four-square, or swapping hail-cracked panels on an open St. Johns exposure are three different jobs, and we’ve done all three more times than we can count.
Storm season is the busy season, and our rule holds through it: if a repair does the job, that’s what we quote. The free look gets you an honest read and a firm number, usually within days, faster after storms for tarped-and-open walls.
Straight answers about siding repair.
No hedging. Here’s the plain version of what homeowners ask us most, and you can see finished work in our gallery.
Can you match my existing siding color and profile?
Usually. We source panels for the major vinyl lines, blend coatings on wood, and use factory touch-up systems on engineered wood and fiber cement. On sun-weathered walls we’ll show you exactly how close the match gets and pick patch boundaries that keep it invisible.
My siding was damaged in a storm. Will insurance cover the repair?
Often, yes, when the damage is storm-caused and exceeds your deductible. We photograph and document damage the way adjusters need, and we’ll tell you honestly whether a claim is worth filing before you touch your premium history.
How much does siding repair cost?
Small repairs are a few-hundred-dollar visit; larger sections scale with area and what we find behind them. You get a firm number after a free look, and if the wall behind the damage turns out to be wet, we show you photos before the scope changes.
Should I repair or just replace the whole side?
If damage is localized and the wall behind is dry, repair. If problems are systemic, the product is discontinued, or this is your third repair call on the same wall, replacement is usually the better money. We’ll put both numbers in front of you.
Can you repair just a few panels of vinyl siding?
Yes. Individual vinyl panels unlock and swap without disturbing the wall around them, as long as matching panels exist. That’s the most common repair we do, often finished the same day.
What causes siding to fail early?
Bad installation, mostly: panels nailed too tight, missing moisture barrier, and failed flashing or caulk at windows and rooflines. Impacts and storms do the visible damage, but water paths do the expensive damage. Every repair we do includes finding and closing them.
Do you repair fiber cement and engineered wood too?
Yes. We’re certified on James Hardie and LP SmartSide, which covers the repair spec as well: matched boards, sealed cuts, correct fastening, and factory touch-up so the warranty on the rest of the wall stays clean.
How fast can you get to a storm-damage siding repair?
Open-wall and water-path damage jumps the queue: call us and we’ll get eyes on it fast, usually within a day or two after a storm event. Cosmetic repairs book on the normal schedule. Either way you get a firm number before work starts.
